Nelson Chocofellar’s own Aurélien Sudan invites you to dive deeper into your concert experience with his optional, interactive chocolate pairings. Pre-order a box of chocolates matched to the program of this performance and enjoy at specific intervals throughout the evening. At intermission, reset your palette with a glass of Prosecco available to purchase only at this special event!
For this performance, Aurélien will be using his confectionery artistry to express the programme of music by French composers played by a hometown artist!
Each box will include 4 chocolates inspired by French desserts and incorporate local ingredients.

About the performer –
Nelson-based violinist, Natasha Hall will perform with pianist Yoomi Kim in an exciting programme that includes the dazzling virtuosic Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Camille Saint-Saëns, alongside works by Arvo Part, Beethoven, Lutoslawski, and Franck.
Natasha Hall has performed as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in North America, Europe and Asia. She has appeared as soloist with many ensembles including the Calgary Civic Symphony. Prior to a recent move back to her hometown of Nelson B.C., Natasha spent the last decade based in London UK and is a member of the English Chamber Orchestra. She has performed regularly with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
Pianist, conductor, and composer Yoomi Kim received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Cincinnati where she also completed her Master of Music degree in Conducting with choral emphasis. Dr. Kim holds her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Montreal respectively. Yoomi and Natasha regularly perform together as a duo.
