CAPITOL THEATRE AGM

Dear Patrons,

Thank you so much for supporting the work that the Capitol does by attending events at the theatre throughout the year!

Many of you have also supported by purchasing a Society Membership this past year. If you need to renew your membership or would like to purchase a $15 membership for the first time, you can do so online here or by calling the Box Office during regular opening hours: Tues. – Fri. 11 am to 3 pm.

Once you have renewed, you are invited to attend and vote at this year’s AGM on Oct. 26th at 5pm at the Capitol Theatre (421 Victoria Street) where we will be delighted to offer you a drink and a chocolate on us! A quick note that if there is a significant shift in the Covid landscape that prevents us from gathering in person, you will be sent a zoom link.

The funding from memberships is used to directly support and enhance the youth and performance art programs offered by the Capitol Theatre. The ticket prices for our season series, programs and theatre rentals are kept low thanks to grants from provincial, federal, and local government, endless volunteer hours, local corporate sponsorship and your membership.

This year your support is more important than ever. Although we are thrilled to have returned to live presentations with in-person audiences, the pandemic continues to have a significant impact on live arts venues.
